Physician (MD/DOD)

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a skilled Physician (M.D. or D.O.) to join our team at Baraga Correctional Facility in Michigan. As a Staff Physician, you will work under the supervision of the Site Medical Director, providing high-quality healthcare services to our patients.

• Deliver healthcare services to patients with broad latitude for independent judgment and initiative.
• Take a leading role in the delivery of health care services to our patients.
• Ensure Medical Record documentation is in SOAP format, problem-oriented, and corresponds to the therapeutic order.
• Adhere to approved formulary for therapeutic regimens before utilizing non-formulary procedures.
• Provide emergency treatment on-site and respond appropriately in urgent or emergency situations.

• Must be a licensed Physician in the state of employment.
• Current DEA registration.
• Board certified and qualified by state laws/regulations to practice medicine.

• Holiday Pay: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
