Physician (MD/DOD)

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a skilled Physician (MD/DOD) to join our team in Michigan. As a Staff Physician, you will work under the supervision of the Site Medical Director and be an integral part of the medical team at our facility.

• Ensure Medical Record documentation is in SOAP format, problem-oriented, and corresponds to the therapeutic order.
• Ensure all documentation is timed, legible, and signed.
• Adhere to approved formulary for therapeutic regimens before utilizing non-formulary procedures.
• Document pertinent observations and logical conclusions to validate need for non-formulary medication on non-formulary request form for Medical Director's approval when non-formulary medication is ordered.
• Utilize available in-house resource personnel for treatment and resolution of identified problems before utilizing off-site referral.
• Provide emergency treatment on-site and respond appropriately in urgent or emergency situations.
• Support standards of medical care through adherence to existing policies and procedures.
• Serve as a resource to other professional or non-professional personnel providing instructions as needed.
• Attend medical staff meetings as required.
• Participate in monthly review of quality care and chart reviews as requested.
• Sponsor Physician Assistants as required.

• Must be a licensed Physician in the state of employment.
• Current DEA registration.
• Board certified and qualified by state laws/regulations to practice medicine.
