Job Summary

Catalyst Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant I or II to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record and maintain accurate patient information in electronic medical records.
  • Assist healthcare providers with duties as assigned, including preparing patients for exams and procedures.
  • Stock and clean exam rooms, maintain supplies and equipment, and ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Perform Point of Care Testing (POCT) and communicate normal test results to patients under the direction of the provider.
  • Practice sterile technique when appropriate for in-office procedures and serve as a patient advocate to enable informed consent at the request of the provider.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in competency needs and assessments annually and maintain a working knowledge of computer systems.
  • Ensure accuracy and completion of patient electronic orders, per department protocol, and comply with HIPAA and OSHA requirements.
Requirements
  • Medical Assistant I: Less than 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Medical Assistant II: Completed a minimum of 6 months as an MA Apprentice and meets requirements outlined above or at least 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant.
