Role Summary

As a Senior Accounting Associate, you will be integral in enhancing and overseeing the accounting functions at Forward. Collaborating closely with the Controller, Accounting Manager, and the Strategy and Finance team, you will report directly to the Accounting Manager and engage regularly with various internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the monthly and annual financial closing processes to guarantee timely and precise reporting, which includes the preparation of journal entries, supporting schedules, reconciliations, analyses, and financial statement generation.
  • Facilitate internal and external reporting requirements and analyses.
  • Serve as the primary backup for payment administration, managing daily funding for small business clients, processing cash payments, and reconciling internal systems.
  • Monitor and review daily cash transactions.
  • Support financial audits and reviews.
  • Contribute significantly to ongoing accounting projects, including system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Help establish robust internal controls and implement new accounting policies and procedures.
  • Continuously seek to improve processes across all areas of responsibility.

Qualifications
