Project Overview:
The contractor will engage with the People Data Exchange application.

Essential Skills and Experience:
• Proficiency in Selenium / 3-5 years
• Programming experience in Java, C#, or Python / 3-5 years
• SQL Server expertise / 3-5 years
• Familiarity with Azure Databricks / 3-5 years
• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory / 3-5 years

Team Structure:
• Collaborate with Junior and Senior Azure Cloud Engineers
• Work alongside .Net & React Developers

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2 years of relevant experience in system development
• 2 years of experience in data quality testing, testable requirements, and continuous integration
• 2 years of experience in an Agile work environment

Preferred Qualifications:
• 5 years of relevant system development experience
• 5 years of experience in Agile methodologies
• Experience in the airline industry

Required Skills and Certifications:
• Understanding of systems flow engineering documentation, tools, and architectural concepts
• Comprehensive knowledge of business systems and industry requirements, with full technical proficiency in systems analysis
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timely product delivery
• Develop and execute both manual and automated test cases for software applications to validate data pipelines, ETL processes, and data transformations
• Conduct end-to-end integration testing across multiple independent systems and interfaces (flat files, API & ETL Pipelines)
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of databases and data stores using industry-standard technologies - SQL, Python, Great Expectations, and custom data validation frameworks
• Utilize Azure Data services and data stores to validate data integration and migration processes
• Collaborate closely with developers and quality assurance teams to create domain models, sequence diagrams, use case diagrams, and operation contracts
• Experience in application administration, systems support, or development is preferred
• Manage user stories within an Agile software development process
• Adaptability to unexpected events, new information, and rapidly changing circumstances
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and apply best practices with a proactive attitude
• Proficient in technical documentation
