- Thoroughly clean and maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Utilize appropriate chemical cleaners and equipment to avoid damage to surfaces.
- Move furniture and equipment as necessary to access cleaning areas.
- Address stains on carpets, rugs, walls, and floors using specialized cleaning solutions.
- Conduct seasonal maintenance tasks such as snow removal and lawn care.
- Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing water with detergents or acids as per guidelines.
- Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors to maintain their appearance.
- Clean and vacuum carpeted areas, applying spot treatments when needed.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables.
- Order necessary supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance.
- Monitor building security by locking doors and checking for potential hazards.
- Perform basic repairs as required.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills are essential.
