Job Summary:

River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to oversee the coordination and implementation of behavioral health services for our minor clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health, excellent clinical and supervisory skills, and the ability to design, develop, and modify programming.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and implement compliance with policies/procedures/guidelines for all funding/credentialing bodies.
  • Provide individual and family therapy in and out of clinics to youth with mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.
  • Complete behavioral health assessments for child and adolescent clients seen in the clinic.
  • Monitor budgets, authorizations, billing, staffing patterns, and productivity and make suggestions/improvements accordingly.
  • Implement changes in program standards as required or needed.
  • Ensure all reports are completed and submitted appropriately.
  • Monitor training records and ensure training for staff meets requirements.
  • Attend and participate in all required meetings and committees.
  • Professionally meet/network with appropriate community partners.
  • Provide clinical supervision to assigned agency staff.
  • Help to plan and coordinate agency holiday and back-to-school events for clients.
  • Complete weekly timesheets for designated staff.
  • Attend leadership meetings.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in the behavioral health field, full licensure such as LAMFT, LMFT, LAPC, LPC, LMSW, or LCSW.
  • At least four years of providing behavioral health services is preferred.
  • At least four years of community service board experience is preferred.
  • At least two years of relevant supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Must have knowledge and experience with the chronically mentally ill population.
  • Must have the ability to design, develop, and modify programming.
  • Must have strong clinical skills and supervisory skills.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must multi-task and remain organized.
  • Must be able to interact with community partners and give presentations detailing River Edge services.
