Position Overview
Northrop Grumman Space Systems is in search of a GN&C Analysis & Algorithms Manager 2. This role is based in Roy, UT and is integral to the Sentinel program.
Key Responsibilities
The selected manager will lead engineering efforts and actively contribute to the development of physics-based models, six-degree-of-freedom simulations, and algorithms for both flight and ground systems. Responsibilities include:
- Assessing control stability and conducting ground tests that lead to flight test analysis.
- Ensuring compliance with program requirements.
- Leading a team in a dynamic environment and fostering strong collaborative relationships across various program elements.
- Managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Overseeing functional management responsibilities, including employee career development and facilitating success.
- Supporting the cost account manager to ensure program deliverables and timelines are achieved.

This position follows a standard work schedule of a 9/80 format, allowing employees to work nine-hour days from Monday to Thursday and take every other Friday off.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree in STEM with 4 years of relevant experience.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance and an in-scope investigation date within the last 6 years.
- Eligibility to obtain Enhanced Security Clearances as required by the company.
- At least 1 year of experience leading projects and driving performance against schedules.
- Familiarity with aircraft or space guidance, navigation, and control systems.
- 5+ years of experience in object-oriented programming.
- 5+ years of experience using MATLAB/Simulink.
- 5+ years of configuration management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing requirements databases using IBM DOORS, including custom DXL scripts.
- Experience as a database administrator, including schema creation and user permission definitions.
- Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
- Familiarity with Cameo and Teamwork Cloud.
- Technical experience on large DoD Acquisition programs.
Salary Range: $131,200 - $196,800
The salary range provided is a general guideline; Northrop Grumman considers various factors when determining base salary offers, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, as well as the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
