Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Lead Teacher in executing developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
  • Support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth of children.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma is required; an associate or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
  • Experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool environment.

  • Basic knowledge of child development principles.
  • Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs. for child handling purposes.
  • Completion of 30 hours of DCYF STAR training.
