Ektello is at the forefront of eMobility, offering innovative solutions in EV charging technology. We are in search of a skilled Technical Lead Engineer to enhance our U.S. operations. Our cutting-edge wireless charging systems enable electric vehicles to charge while in motion, integrating mechanics, software, electronics, and high-voltage electricity.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with substantial experience in project planning, coordination, and execution within established budgets and timelines.
Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in monitoring project progress and effectively communicating updates to stakeholders, clients, and team members.
Critical to this role is the ability to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and oversee technology across multiple sites, ensuring the successful deployment and operation of charging infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of unique electric road integration projects in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and valued partners.
- Oversee design, installation, operation, and demonstrations at various locations.- Manage troubleshooting and maintenance of deployed systems, addressing issues for fleets and customers.
- Clearly document project delivery plans and maintain communication with all stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
- Systematically prioritize and resolve project challenges.
- Ensure that project results meet established quality standards across all areas.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience, ideally 10 years.
- Prior experience in the U.S. electric vehicle sector.
- Familiarity with EV design and testing.
- Proven track record as a Technical Lead Engineer with project management experience, successfully delivering projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in both mechanical and electrical domains.- Extensive experience interpreting mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Hands-on experience with hardware, connections, and field troubleshooting.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities with excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication.
- Experience in creating Gantt charts and project schedules.- Proven leadership in managing development and construction teams.
- Experience working with subcontractors.
- Technical knowledge of electronics.
- Ability to thrive in a startup and multicultural environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed (25%-30%).
- Ability to work independently for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in the U.S. EV charging market is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with EV charging and infrastructure integration.
