Job Summary

The Tennessee Board of Regents is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Student Health Clinic team. As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with our nurse practitioner and other medical staff to provide patient care and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in patient care and examination under the direction of the nurse practitioner
  • Triage patients, perform phlebotomy, and process lab results
  • Administer oral and intramuscular injections
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling, answering phone calls, and ordering supplies
Requirements
  • High school diploma and medical assistance certificate
  • 2+ years of experience in a medical clinic
  • CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Spanish speaking
  • 3+ years of experience with at least 1 year in a team leader position
