About the Job

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in a Radiology Technologist Level II role. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of standard radiographic procedures in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Execution of Radiographic Procedures: Prepare patients for radiographic procedures by accurately assessing their needs and providing patient education.
  • Image Production and Documentation: Operate computer and radiographic equipment for image production and documentation of images.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Perform quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images.
  • Patient Information and Exam Charges: Enter and properly complete all patient information, including exam charges and supplies, into the Radiology Information System (RIS) and/or other KP application.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate abnormal situations to proper sources in a way that facilitates resolution and/or tracking, and actively engage other health care providers to ensure quality, continuity, and appropriateness of care.
Requirements
  • Experience: One (1) year as a Radiological Technologist.
  • Education: N/A
  • License, Certification, Registration: Basic Life Support, Radiologic Technologist Certification
  • Additional Requirements: General knowledge of EH&S, OSHA, DHR, Radiation Safety and Protection, general knowledge of exam protocols, basic PC (keyboarding & navigation) skills.
