We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Prime Healthcare. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners and X-ray machines to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for CT scans and X-ray procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Operate CT scanners and X-ray machines to obtain accurate images, adjusting settings as needed to optimize image quality and minimize radiation exposure.
- Monitor patients during procedures, providing emotional support and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Assist radiologists in interpreting images and administering contrast agents or performing procedures as needed.
- Ensure the quality assurance of CT scanners and X-ray machines, maintaining equipment and following protocols for infection control and hygiene.
- Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Control activities, contributing to the development of Performance Improvement Programs.
- Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment.
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
- Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
- Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
- Effective CT ARRT Certification.
- Must maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
- One year of acute, clinical radiology experience.
