Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Prime Healthcare. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners and X-ray machines to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for CT scans and X-ray procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Operate CT scanners and X-ray machines to obtain accurate images, adjusting settings as needed to optimize image quality and minimize radiation exposure.
  • Monitor patients during procedures, providing emotional support and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Assist radiologists in interpreting images and administering contrast agents or performing procedures as needed.
  • Ensure the quality assurance of CT scanners and X-ray machines, maintaining equipment and following protocols for infection control and hygiene.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Control activities, contributing to the development of Performance Improvement Programs.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
  • Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
  • Effective CT ARRT Certification.
  • Must maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.

  • One year of acute, clinical radiology experience.
