Job Summary

Bayhealth is seeking a skilled CRNA to join our team of anesthesia care providers. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing a wide range of surgical, obstetric, and diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and prepare materials needed for procedures within 15 minutes of completion of prior cases.
  • Perform daily equipment checks to ensure proper functioning.
  • Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluations of patients.
  • Formulate and document patient-specific plans for anesthesia care.
  • Induce and maintain anesthesia at required levels during procedures.
  • Monitor patients' physiologic conditions and document all activity.
  • Notify attending anesthesiologists of patient status and any changes to anesthesia plans.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nurse Anesthesia Practice.
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) credential.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree in Nurse Anesthesia Practice.
  • 2 or more years of experience as a CRNA.
  • Active membership in the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA), Delaware Association of Nurse Anesthetists (DANA), and Delaware Nurses Association (DNA).
