We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Health Professional to join our team at Rochester Public Schools - Independent School District #535. As a School Health Professional, you will play a critical role in promoting the health and well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities

The School Health Professional is responsible for providing medical care to students, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with school staff to ensure effective health office services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing daily medical care to students, including administering medications and specialized treatments as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date student health records and data.
  • Collaborating with school staff to ensure effective health office services and providing information and support as directed by the Licensed School Nurse.
  • Performing other duties within the level of responsibility of the position as assigned by the Student Services administrator and Licensed School Nurses.
Qualifications

To be successful as a School Health Professional, you must possess a current Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or Registered Nurse (RN). Additionally, you must have CPR and first aid certification, as well as computer skills in data entry and management.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this position includes a salary range of $26.00 (LPN) to $31.00 (RN) per hour, based on licensure with the Minnesota Board of Nursing. Benefits are also available for regular positions working an average of 30 hours per week.
