Salary Range:
Minimum: USD $50,000.00/Yr.
Maximum: USD $55,000.00/Yr.
Position Overview:
Services for the UnderServed is in search of a Facility Manager to oversee operations at our women's shelter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise operational and maintenance personnel, ensuring effective scheduling and task delegation.
- Maintain compliance with building regulations and address any violations promptly.
- Facilitate training and performance evaluations for maintenance staff.
- Participate in inspections by relevant authorities to ensure safety and compliance.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fire safety plan, including staff training and regular drills.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and mitigate fire hazards.
- Monitor the facility to ensure safety and security for all clients and staff.
- Assist clients with maintaining their living spaces, particularly regarding pest control.
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with appropriate services as needed.
- Engage in team meetings and ongoing training opportunities.
- Maintain necessary certifications and adhere to an on-call system for urgent situations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a relevant field with 2-5 years of experience, or a High School diploma with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Required Safety Director (F-80) and/or Security Guard license in New York State.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Strong strategic planning and program management skills.
- Ability to foster relationships with team members and stakeholders.
