Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Shop Manager in all aspects of the business, including sales, customer service, and staff management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Service:
    • Collaborate with the team to exceed daily sales goals and provide a unique and inclusive customer experience.
    • Build brand awareness and educate customers on our values and products.
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and make informed recommendations to customers.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead by example and support the team in achieving sales goals and providing excellent customer service.
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve staff skills and knowledge.
    • Recruit, select, and develop top-performing staff.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Support the Shop Manager in maintaining a compliant and efficient store environment.
    • Manage stock and inventory levels to ensure the right products are available at the right time.
    • Develop and implement visual merchandising and display standards to drive sales and customer engagement.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service and sales skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with consultation-based customer service models.
  • Ability to develop and train staff through positive coaching and feedback.
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Basic HR skills in hiring, scheduling, training, and performance management.
