Job Title: Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide high-quality medical services in correctional facilities across North Carolina.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional to join our team. As a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for providing primary care services to patients in correctional facilities, including conducting medical histories, performing physical exams, and prescribing medications.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough medical histories and physical exams to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to inform treatment decisions.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients on healthy lifestyle choices, disease management, and medication adherence.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in North Carolina.
  • DEA certification and BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification and NP/PA certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
