Job Description:
We are searching for a Board Certified/Eligible Psychiatrist licensed in MA to provide Consult-Liaison Psychiatry (Inpatient consultation) to our clients in MA. The ideal candidate will have an active and unrestricted license in the state of MA, Board Certification in Psychiatry, and a valid and unrestricted DEA.
Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate responses to consult requests received during a scheduled shift
- Evaluate and treat patients referred for the assessment and treatment of neuropsychiatric conditions, behavioral health disorders, and comorbid conditions
- Utilize the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Prescribe medications within the limits of applicable laws and regulations
- Admission and discharge information to follow
- Provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted license in the state of MA
- Board Certified or Eligible in Psychiatry
- Valid and unrestricted DEA
- Well-versed in telemedicine technologies and EHR programs
