Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in diverse transportation projects, ensuring adherence to design standards.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to meet project objectives.
  • Prepare roadway plans and specifications in compliance with relevant guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE).
  • 3 to 10 years of relevant engineering experience, particularly in transportation design.
  • Knowledge of roadway design principles as outlined by AASHTO.
  • Familiarity with TDOT guidelines and procedures.
  • Proficiency in design software such as MicroStation, Geopak, OpenRoads, or AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Tennessee.
  • Experience working with local municipalities and permitting processes.
  • Project management experience, including coordination with clients and team members.
