You will position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements, and assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies. You will also verify specifications by measuring completed component, and resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists.
  • Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Verify specifications by measuring completed component.
  • Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.
  • 2+ years of Warehouse experience in Inventory or Assembly.
  • Ability to speak and read English.
  • MRP experience a plus.
