Job Summary

We are seeking a visionary and collaborative physician leader to serve as the Chief of the Division of Pediatric Radiology. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical and academic foundation, with a proven track record of leadership and a passion for delivering outstanding care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for quality, safety, and clinical operations in pediatric radiology services
  • Develop and implement clinical standards, protocols, and procedures to ensure effective clinical operation
  • Lead quality and patient safety initiatives, including the development of quality plans and the review of key quality and outcome metrics
  • Collaborate with administrative dyads, drive alignment through relationships with employed and faculty physicians, and partner with community physicians
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with Emory and other relevant academic institutions
  • Advance clear communication channels with staff, leaders, and campus medical/surgical directors to ensure alignment, trust, and accountability
  • Lead patient experience efforts, monitor performance data, and drive improvement in alignment with the system patient experience strategy
  • Develop and implement comprehensive practice management, including managing call/coverage schedules, staffing plans, and budgets
  • Lead the Division's research program, develop research goals, and manage research portfolios
  • Create, support, and implement educational programs, including medical student, resident, and fellow training
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited, four-year medical school
  • Graduate of an accredited, post-graduate residency program
  • Completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in pediatric radiology
  • Board certified in a relevant specialty and current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Georgia
  • Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing as part of the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta medical staff
  • 5-10 years of administrative or leadership experience as a Division Director, Associate, or Medical Director role in a pediatric hospital or healthcare setting
  • Experience building and maintaining partnerships between clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
  • Experience building a successful Division, inclusive of all missions (clinical, research, and teaching)
