Job Title: Senior Field Engineer

SI Engineering, P.C. is a leading consulting engineering firm based in downtown Manhattan, providing a wide range of services in civil, structural, transportation engineering, and more. We are seeking multiple Senior Field Engineers to support various MTA C&D transit construction projects.

Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for construction management, including quality, schedule, and overall client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rail construction projects, including stations, line structures, communications systems, and track work.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage construction projects to ensure quality, schedule, and budget compliance
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines and resource allocation
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or similar
  • Licensed Professional Engineer, Registered Architect, or Certified Construction Manager (preferred)
  • 6+ years of experience in rail construction projects, including stations, line structures, communications systems, and track work
  • Experience with MTA C&D (including NYCT, LIRR, MNR), Amtrak, NJ Transit, and PANYNJ
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
