- Perform non-invasive Cardiology procedures, including heart disease early prevention screenings and echocardiography.
- Prescribe medications and develop ongoing treatment and disease management plans.
- Provide relationship-centered care, taking into account patients' psychosocial and physical needs.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
- Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure seamless delivery of quality care.
- One to three years of Cardiology clinical experience in an outpatient setting.
- Ability to diagnose and treat a wide variety of Cardiology conditions and improve patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate competency in diagnosis and treatment to ensure high standards of patient care and safety are maintained.
- Patient-centered approach toward a positive patient experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Interest in Population Health Management.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or foreign equivalent.
- Completion of three-year postgraduate medical training from an accredited residency program and three years of Cardiology fellowship training.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiology Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, or Echocardiography with a preference for Level II or Level III COCATS certification.
- Current, unrestricted New York State license.
- Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or eligibility for registration.
- Active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or eligibility to enroll.
- BLS or ACLS certification required (both strongly preferred).
