We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team at DispatchHealth Management in Worcester, MA. As a Home Healthcare Provider, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, in-home healthcare services to patients. This is a dynamic role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for patient-centered care.
About the Role
As an APP with DispatchHealth, you will have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a clinical care team to deliver comprehensive health assessments, diagnose and treat acute conditions, and provide therapeutic interventions. You will be equipped with everything needed to treat common to complex injuries and illnesses through comprehensive health assessments, including diagnosis, treatment, and outcome management, for patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, in-home healthcare services to patients
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and diagnose acute conditions
- Provide therapeutic interventions, such as splinting, suturing, wound care, and minor procedures
- Use critical thinking skills and follow evidence-based standards of practice
- Analyze test data to diagnose, treat, and arrange appropriate follow-up for patients
- Educate patients and families on how to manage their health and well-being
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Hospital, Family Practice, Cardiac, Pulmonary, or other relevant areas
- Graduate degree from an accredited institution
- Current unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Nationally board certified, current
- Current BLS required, ACLS certification preferred
- Prescriptive authority and DEA
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000-$150,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, paid time off, family leave, and short-term disability leave.
