Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Lead clinical research projects by following established study protocols and providing direct patient care to participants.
  • Assist in the preparation, submission, and management of compliance documentation throughout all phases of the research project.
  • Support the selection, education, testing, and monitoring of research participants, ensuring adherence to protocols and collaboration with healthcare providers for continuity of care.
  • Document patient care and study outcomes using appropriate systems and formats, and maintain ongoing communication of results with the research team.
  • Engage in quality assurance and improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with care standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing, obtained prior to hire or transfer.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited nursing school or required professional licensure at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, preferably in Neuroscience or Stroke.
  • Previous experience in research or quality improvement nursing.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Google and Microsoft tools, with the ability to analyze and communicate data effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The capability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • The ability to work independently, identify issues, and implement solutions.
  • A commitment to handling sensitive information confidentially and professionally, in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
