Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing on a variety of commercial & industrial projects
  • Collaborate with architects, other engineering disciplines, owners, and contractors to provide well-coordinated and high-quality structural drawings
  • Work closely with designers, drafters, modelers, and other in-house engineers to execute structural designs
  • Meet with project teams to ensure effective communication flow during design
  • Interface with contractors during construction to ensure positive results with minimum complications
  • Manage projects profitably and maintain a working relationship with clients
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or architectural engineering, or other structural engineering related field
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE)
  • 10+ years of structural engineering experience
  • Design experience with structural steel and reinforced concrete for building and nonbuilding structures
  • Experience with structural analysis software
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in civil or architectural engineering, or other structural engineering related field
  • Registration as a Structural Engineer (SE)
  • Design experience with light gage steel, CMU, and timber
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit
