The Senior Janitorial Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facilities maintenance team. This includes planning, assigning, and directing work to ensure compliance with contract requirements and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and maintaining hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevator banks, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Organizing and directing staff in the use of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Polishing metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.
- Washing windows, door panels, and sills.
- Emptying wastebaskets and replenishing bathroom and floor supplies.
- Setting an example through dependability, hard work, and strong business ethics.
- Assigning tasks and inspecting completed work for conformance to standards.
- Requisitioning supplies and equipment from the Project Manager.
- Training employees in the use of equipment and supplies.
- Addressing complaints and resolving problems of employees and customers.
- Fostering a positive team spirit and producing quality work.
- Following safety standards and guidelines in the proper use of equipment.
- Completing required paperwork and documentation.
