Job Summary

Northwell Health is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Representative to join our team. As a Pharmacy Representative, you will play a critical role in assisting Registered Pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medication, as well as maintaining accurate records and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medication, including filling, packaging, labeling, and stocking unit dose carts.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including IV records, medication records, and statistics.
  • Transport required pharmacy materials and maintain inventory control.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to obtain and document medication information.
  • Participate in implementing and evaluating Quality Assurance, Performance Improvement, and Compliance programs.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree required.
  • Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPT) certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required.
  • Current license as a registered pharmacy technician in NYS required when hired on/after 4/25/21.
  • Minimum of three (3) years retail pharmacy experience required, with a strong working knowledge of medications and computerized hospital pharmacy systems.
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $30.00-$30.84/hour. Northwell Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
