We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician - Equipment Specialist to join our team at California Natural Products. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our processing equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on processing equipment, including steam and condensate recovery systems, boilers, air compressors, cooling towers, and chillers.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve equipment issues in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing downtime and ensuring production continuity.
- Documentation: Accurately document all maintenance activities, including work orders, technical reports, and maintenance tracking system entries.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance team members, operators, and production staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to other team members on equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvements and contribute to the development of new maintenance procedures and protocols.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with 2-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of boilers, air compressors, cooling towers, and chillers; experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting; and proficiency in computerized service maintenance management software.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The successful candidate will be exposed to a variety of working conditions, including wet and varying temperature conditions, loud noise, vibration, and risk of electrical shock. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities is essential.
Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $28-$37.30 per hour, as well as opportunities for bonus potential and professional growth.
