We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Engineer to join our team at OHM Advisors. As a trusted member of our Field Services Group, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect work in progress to ensure compliance with specifications and construction schedules.
  • Interface daily with project team members, clients, contractors, and technical experts to discuss project-related matters.
  • Effectively communicate project details to the project team and clients.
  • Provide project-related guidance, coaching, and direction to staff.

Requirements

  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Michigan.
  • Experience in construction practices, procedures, and techniques, as well as applicable local, state, and federal delivery requirements.
  • Strong analytical and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Computer skills, including internet, MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in bridge construction.
  • Experience with trenchless technologies.
  • Experience with construction survey.
  • Experience with project documentation.
  • Experience with project submittal reviews.
  • Experience with project close out and as-built submittals.
