Job Summary:

At The Highlands at Owasso, we're seeking a compassionate and skilled Nursing Assistant to join our care team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working closely with our healthcare team to ensure each resident receives the best possible service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to residents, including assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist residents with meals and social functions, promoting a positive dining experience and encouraging social interaction.
  • Observe and report any changes in a resident's condition to the charge nurse, ensuring timely interventions and effective care.
  • Practice good infection control techniques, maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues, promoting a positive and respectful team environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have completed an approved training program and passed competency examinations for Certified Nurse Assistant. You should also possess good physical and mental health, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and rotate with residents who may be partially or totally dependent.
