About the Role

Makowsky Ringel Greenberg, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team at The Westbury Apartments in Memphis, Tennessee. This is a full-time position that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the property, its amenities, and the surrounding community.
  • Handle all aspects of leasing apartments, including showing properties and processing applications.
  • Collect and enter rental payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Record daily traffic information to monitor property activity.
  • Handle or assist in the processing of residents' service requests and other maintenance requests in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Perform daily inspections of model apartments, common areas, and community amenities to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Assist in the inspection of vacant apartments to prepare them for leasing.
  • Assume the duties of the property manager as needed and perform other duties as directed by management.
Requirements
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in residential management or leasing.
  • Experience using property management software, preferably OneSite or Yardi.
  • Availability to work weekends and flexible scheduling.
  • Able to walk the property, which may include climbing stairs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of insurance.
  • Must pass a credit check, background check, and drug screening.
