Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinician to join our Emergency Services Team at the Community Council of Nashua, Inc. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a related field, and have 1-2 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emergency crisis evaluations and stabilization services for youth, adults, and geriatric populations in various settings, including hospitals, community-based settings, and GNMH locations.
  • Utilize Evidenced-Based Practices (EBPs) and screening tools for risk assessment and crisis stabilization efforts.
  • Formulate and initiate plans of action independently or in consultation with clients, Psychiatrists, Case Managers, and other staff as necessary.
  • Evaluate, conduct treatment planning, and provide support to internal GNMH programs related to crisis consultation and intervention.
  • Assess clients' crisis states, immediate needs, and level of urgency, and select the appropriate mode of intervention in relation to suicide risk, violence potential, mental status, support system, and need for medication or other services.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of related experience.
  • Ability to form rapid rapport and interact with a broad range of clients, including severe and chronic populations.
  • Strong collaborating skills and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
