About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients with end-stage renal disease.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Perform technician duties, such as setting up hemodialysis machines and educating patients on kidney dialysis-related topics
  • Build long-term relationships with patients and their families, providing emotional support and education
  • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, and social workers
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Comfortable working around blood and needles
  • Ability to work long hours, including evenings and rotating shifts
  • Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed
