We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Christus Health. This is a full-time opportunity that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

As a Clinical Nursing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our medical clinic. This includes supervising a team of Medical Assistants, coordinating patient referrals, and providing direct nursing care to patients. You will assess patient conditions, assist physicians with examinations, and manage authorization requests within the Managed Care System.

This role emphasizes teamwork, customer service, and compliance with healthcare standards in a clinical environment. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive high-quality care and that our clinic runs smoothly and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure. You should be able to prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain accurate records.

We offer a competitive salary of $62,500 per year, which is based on industry standards and your level of experience. Our benefits package includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and procedures
  • Supervise Medical Assistants and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
  • Manage authorization requests and ensure timely processing
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient data and clinical outcomes
Requirements
  • CERT (Certified Enrollment Representative) certification
  • LVN license in the state of employment or compact
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Work Environment
