Position Summary

We are currently looking for a Construction Site Supervisor to assist the Head of Construction and collaborate with the construction team throughout various project phases, from initiation to completion. This role serves as the primary liaison with Project Owners, Contractors, and Renewable Energy Suppliers, ensuring effective communication and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Exus Field Office and manage third-party consultants.
  • Foster positive relationships with landowners and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure accurate documentation through the completion of the Exus Construction Daily Report.
  • Review and validate the accuracy of daily reports submitted by Contractors and Renewable Energy Suppliers.
  • Supervise Contractor and Renewable Energy Supplier activities on-site.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all contract requirements and project scope.
  • Coordinate inspections of Contractor and Renewable Energy Supplier work.
  • Continuously monitor the Project Schedule in collaboration with the Director of Construction.
  • Assist in developing strategies for project recovery and adaptation to changing metrics.
  • Review and address all drawing and specification changes promptly.
  • Implement and uphold the Exus Project Safety Program.
  • Facilitate the timely closure of all project-related items.
  • Lead efforts to resolve field issues swiftly and effectively.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role within a construction or engineering firm, or with a Renewable Energy Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Proven track record of managing projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Strong sense of urgency and self-awareness; proactive and process-oriented.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across various disciplines and departments.
  • Demonstrated success in previous roles with measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Capacity to manage multiple complex tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Primavera, and relevant Project Management software.
