Role Overview:

AlphaGraphics of New Bern, recognized as the oldest commercial printing establishment in North Carolina, is evolving into a comprehensive marketing solutions provider that extends beyond conventional print services. We serve as a centralized hub for signage, high-volume mailing, digital marketing, and design, alongside in-house full offset and digital printing.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative (CSR) to become an integral part of our full-time team. The CSR's primary role is to foster and sustain positive interactions with our clientele, ensuring their needs and expectations are met effectively.

This position offers a remarkable opportunity for a well-organized and enthusiastic individual who enjoys customer interaction and project oversight. The CSR will play a crucial role in managing communication and project workflows for our key clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the management team in order processing, production tracking, and related tasks.
  • Recommend suitable products and services tailored to customer needs and budget constraints.
  • Follow up on leads and referrals generated through various outreach efforts.
  • Engage in meaningful business conversations with customers.
  • Prepare estimates and maintain follow-up procedures for quotes.
  • Keep customers informed about order statuses and any changes in production timelines.
  • Execute various marketing initiatives, including mailings and digital communications.
  • Assist with reports, invoicing, and necessary documentation as required.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and nurture effective working relationships with all support departments.
  • Oversee job management throughout the prepress and production phases.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in retail, inside sales, customer service, or executive assistance.
  • Proven ability to resolve customer satisfaction challenges.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks and projects under pressure.
  • Proficient in computer and internet applications, including the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic mathematical proficiency.
  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Adobe software is a plus.

Compensation: $18.00 per hour
