Ryder is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in Topeka, Kansas. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move materials and products within the warehouse. This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $22.00 per hour, with overtime pay at $33.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to move materials and products within the warehouse
- Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and cycle counting
- Responsible for accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading and unloading of trucks
- Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
- Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
