The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering principles and experience working on multidisciplinary design teams.

Responsibilities:

* Support design teams in preparation of drawings, specifications, and reports.
* Perform engineering-related calculations and analysis of information in the application of basic design criteria.
* Provide field support for environmental projects, including environmental sampling field work, construction-related engineering inspections, site and bid walks, data management/tabulation and analysis, and reporting.
* Travel up to 25% to various field investigation sites.

Requirements:

* B.S. or M.S. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related field.
* 0-3 years of relevant experience.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
* Ability to carry out multiple priorities simultaneously.
* Proven ability in technical report writing.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Self-starter, detailed-oriented, and finisher.
* Proficient in using typical business software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Adobe, etc.).
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 25% to various sites.
* Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred, but not required.
* OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, preferred.
