We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our team at Cardinal Health. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality engineering, with a proven track record of implementing effective quality policies, procedures, and processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality initiatives, conduct audits, and provide training to ensure a culture of quality excellence throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with site and corporate QMS by developing and implementing effective quality policies, procedures, and processes.
- Support the quality assurance system, including internal audit programs, quality system training, and metric reporting.
- Manage databases, create quality alerts, and initiate SCARs to drive process improvements and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Mentor CAPA champions and team members, monitor supplier performance, and perform customer complaint investigations.
- Develop specifications, test methods, and review new and modified product designs and processes to ensure they meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Represent the Quality function on new product development projects, providing quality engineering support to ensure seamless integration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years' experience in quality engineering, with a strong understanding of FDA regulations and GMPs.
- Ability to apply working knowledge and experience working on projects of moderate scope and complexity.
- Strong PC skills and knowledge of MS Office.
