Job Summary

Central Carolina Hospital is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will provide direct and indirect patient care to OB patients, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care to OB patients
  • Meet the physical, psychosocial, religious/cultural, and emotional needs of patients and families
  • Communicate effectively with the healthcare team about changes in patient condition or response to treatment
  • Be flexible, organized, and function in stressful situations
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or compact state required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery required
