Speech Language Pathologist

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Colleyville, Texas.
About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to provide in-patient, out-patient, and/or neighborhood clinic services to children with various communication disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech and language pathology, with expertise in assessing and treating children with feeding and swallowing disorders, articulation, voice, resonance, fluency, receptive/expressive language disorders, hearing loss, and the need for AAC devices.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care services, including screening, assessment, evaluation, treatment, and home programming for children with communication disorders.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Engage in direct consultation and collaboration with physicians, nurses, other professionals, clinics, and agencies within Cook Children's Health Care System and the community.
- Document and correspond with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Master's degree in speech/language pathology, communication disorders, or related field.
- Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech/Language Pathology, or eligible for application upon completion of Clinical Fellowship Year.
- Spanish proficiency levels defined by Cook Children's Health Care System, measured by objective and nationally recognized oral language, reading, and writing tests.
