Key Responsibilities
  • Product Backlog Management: Define and manage the product backlog by prioritizing features, epics, and stories in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Meeting Facilitation: Facilitate meetings, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospective discussions, to ensure alignment across teams.
  • Work Management: Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar work management tools to track and manage product features, stories, and tasks.
  • Progress Updates: Ensure transparency and timely updates on the progress of development work items.
  • Business and Technical Requirements: Support the technical team by providing detailed business and technical requirements, offering clarifications as needed throughout the development process.
  • M365 SharePoint Management: Assist with M365 SharePoint management, ensuring proper setup, structure, and permissions.
  • Acceptance Criteria: Define acceptance criteria for features and user stories, and work with QA teams to ensure robust testing.
  • UAT Efforts: Lead UAT efforts, ensuring the final product meets user needs and expectations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar work management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello). Solid technical skills in SQL with the ability to run complex queries on large datasets. Experience with M365 SharePoint—knowledge of workflows, document libraries, and permissions is essential.
Skills and Competencies
  • Data Analysis: Strong data analysis skills with a sharp focus on problem-solving and data-driven decision-making.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to mediate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Agile Experience: Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
  • Prioritization: Ability to balance multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional Tools: Experience with additional reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Software Development: Familiarity with software development lifecycles and release management processes.
  • Certifications: Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or Product Ownership (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).
