Intensive Care Unit Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our team at Mercy. As a RN-Weekends, Intensive Care Unit, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
About the RoleThis is a weekend-only position, offering a unique opportunity to focus on delivering exceptional care to critically ill patients. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide individualized care plans and support patients and their families through challenging times.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those with complex medical conditions and high acuity needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medications, and treatments.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must be a graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program and hold a current RN license in the state of hire. You must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Certifications and TrainingWe require Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of the course within 30 days of hire. You will also have opportunities for professional development and training to enhance your skills and knowledge in critical care nursing.
