We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Journeyman Field Technician to join our team in Kent, WA. As a key member of our construction and forestry division, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel equipment at customer locations to ensure maximum uptime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with heavy diesel equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on construction and forestry equipment
- Interact with customers to understand their equipment needs and provide exceptional service
- Work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively
- Collaborate with other technicians and support staff to achieve team goals
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in diagnostic software
- Self-motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record (Class B CDL preferred)
- Ability to provide own tools and equipment
