Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall technical relationship with designated clients.
  • Identify and analyze customer business and technical needs for potential opportunities.
  • Create proposals, high-level designs, and Bills of Materials (BOM) based on validated design guidelines and best practices from respective Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM).
  • Act as the technical representative in all internal sales meetings.
  • Draft Statements of Work (SOW) for all professional services engagements.
  • Contribute to the strategy for responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Achieve and maintain vendor certifications necessary to meet Insight's certification standards or objectives.
  • Provide regular updates to management regarding time allocation, revenue, billable activities, and services rendered.
  • Monitor ongoing opportunities, preparing weekly reports on revenue, gross profit, and associated services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in designing, deploying, and supporting Enterprise and Data Center Networks.
  • Over 5 years of pre-sales experience.
  • Familiarity with one or more cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong foundation in networking principles, including routing, switching, wireless, firewall, and load balancing.
  • Comprehensive understanding and experience with network routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and IS-IS.
  • Knowledge of EVPN and experience with Cisco or other OEM networking products for Service Provider and Enterprise environments.
  • Understanding of SD-WAN technologies with Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.
  • Familiarity with Cisco Route & Switch, Wireless, and Meraki platforms, including their operating and management systems.
  • Experience with at least one firewall platform and its respective operating and management systems, such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Juniper.
