Job Overview

Core Responsibilities:
Deliver engineering and advisory services across a diverse range of projects and clientele. This role may involve conducting and/or leading field assessments, engineering evaluations, calculations, and recommendations, as well as designing and developing plans and specifications. Responsibilities also include overseeing construction to ensure adherence to plans and specifications, preparing proposals and cost assessments, monitoring project progress, budgets, and suggesting modifications. Investigate and resolve design and construction challenges. Assign, review, and assess laboratory or field data for report inclusion. Utilize sound engineering principles and effectively communicate intricate engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Duties:
  • Adhere to safety protocols, guidelines, and standards for all assignments. Engage in pre-task planning and report any safety concerns to management.
  • Uphold quality standards across all projects.
  • Function as a proficient engineering professional responsible for managing detailed aspects of projects of moderate size and complexity.
  • Independently execute various projects or specific segments of larger initiatives.
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, and/or coordinate detailed phases of assigned project tasks.
  • Collaborate closely with senior project managers to gain further project management experience on more complex and larger initiatives.
  • Make recommendations for design, engineering, and construction modifications.
  • Draft proposals and reports for projects of varying complexities.
  • Conduct quality control reviews of proposals authored by others.
  • Analyze complex laboratory and field data for report inclusion.
  • Act as a technical advisor to junior project team members.
  • Engage directly with clients and project teams to develop service scopes, communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations.
  • Compose and prepare routine and intricate engineering reports detailing services rendered, findings, and recommendations.
  • Participate in marketing, sales, and business development efforts.
  • Supervise graduate, field, and project engineering personnel.
  • Work under the guidance of an Authorized Project Reviewer.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Master's degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history.
