ROLE SUMMARY

At Hope, we are dedicated to providing exceptional support to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, ensuring they receive the professional care necessary for their development. Our clinic offers a wide range of services tailored for children from infancy to 18 years of age. As an Autism Support Specialist, you will collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts and other licensed professionals as part of our dedicated care team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage directly with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder to implement teaching strategies based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
  • Communicate effectively with families and guardians regarding their child's developmental progress.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to monitor session data and assist clients in reaching personalized communication and learning objectives.
  • Support the planning and execution of group activities within the clinic.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of background checks.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related human services field.
  • Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • A genuine passion for working with children.
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is advantageous.
