Senior Document Controls Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Document Controls Manager to join our team at Stantec. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to programs, including program team members, construction team members, and will be part of the program management and construction management (PMCM) controls team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain document and record control operations, policies, processes, and procedures for the secure management and access of program information assets.
- Establish security protocols for the access, storage, backup, maintenance, reproduction, protection, and disposition of all documents.
- Provide support to programs, including program team members, construction team members, and will be part of the program management and construction management (PMCM) controls team.
- Manage interfaces with all parties involved with the program's EDMS, ensuring the workflows and distribution matrices are managed for accurate, fast, and efficient information sharing.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with program staff, owner, and subcontractors/suppliers.
- Manage timely submission of RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims internally and externally.
- Manage metadata parameters ensuring all files are appropriately named, distributed, and meet project requirements related to OCR.
- Train team members in processes and document control software as necessary.
Requirements
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Bluebeam Revu, etc.)
- Microsoft SharePoint development and administration experience (required)
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Must demonstrate organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar discipline
- Minimum of ten (10) years of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience in a document management position, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role
- Experience in an engineering and/or construction environment
